As the Dallas area's premier property tax consultant, Will Wiggins has been helping commercial and residential property owners reduce their tax burden for over a decade. With a deep understanding of the property tax system and a track record of successful negotiations with tax assessors, Will has earned a reputation as a true "property tax shark" from the Dallas Morning News.
But Will's expertise goes beyond simply navigating the complexities of the property tax system. He is also a strong advocate for property owner's rights, and he works tirelessly to ensure that his clients are treated fairly by the tax assessor's office.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Will is also heavily involved in the Dallas community. He is a member of several local business organizations and regularly donates his time and resources to various charitable causes.
So if you're a property owner in the Dallas area looking to reduce your property taxes, look no further than Will Wiggins. With his knowledge, experience, and commitment to his clients and community, he is the clear choice for all of your property tax consulting needs.
Prior to becoming partner at North Texas Property Tax Services, Will was an Assistant Director with the Travis Central Appraisal District (TCAD) in Austin. He has previously held titles in the public sector of Land Planner, Commercial Appraiser, and Analyst Manager. This experience and skill set enables Will to dutifully represent his clients and lower taxes. He is an expert when it comes to earning real estate property tax savings.
While working for TCAD Will supervised 4 managers and 30+ employees responsible for more than sixty billion dollars in residential market value ($60MMM). For the first time in the history of Travis County, appraised values were noticed using Will’s polynomial time trend adjustment, and multiple regression valuation models. Those values were defended with an exclusive automated comparable defense system he developed as well. In 2016 Will's research was published in the IAAO JOURNAL OF PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT & ADMINISTRATION.
Will has held various positions responsible for CAMA (Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal) software development, data quality control, database mining and scrubbing, descriptive statistical analysis, economic area and market segmentation, multiple regression modeling with SPSS and ArcGIS software throughout his career.
On several occasions Will has been asked to provide lectures and power point presentations at regional appraiser conferences and taxpayer symposiums to detail these techniques. Will is a native Texan, born in Houston, and holds a degree in Finance with a Real Estate Economics minor from the University of Wyoming.
He is a serial entrepreneur having formed multiple businesses throughout his professional life.
